Waterville, ME - Northern Vermont University-Lyndon sophomore Zosia Prince (Sutton, VT) has been named to the North Atlantic Conference Women's Cross Country All-Conference First Team, as selected by conference coaches and announced on Wednesday. Senior Isabelle Tuggle (Norwich, VT) was named to the NAC Women's Cros Country Sportsmanship Team.
Prince, a graphic design major, was the runner up in Saturday's North Atlantic Conference Championship race. She was a three-time NAC Runner of the Week selection this season, and won the NVU-Lyndon Invitational. She also finished thrid at the Vermont State Championship Meet. Prince posted a personal best of 23:58 over 6K at the Western New England Invitational on October 19th. She consistently posted some of the best times in the conference throughout the season.
Tuggle, a liberal studies major, finished 36th at the NAC Championships. She recorded a personal best of 29:41 at the WNE Invitational. Tuggle was Lyndon's number three runner, behind Prince and Rachel Valentine (Clarksdale, AZ) in each race this season.
Selection to the NAC Women's Cross Country Sportsmanship Team is an honor reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. Sportsmanship Team honorees are individuals who have positively affected the sport culture and environment and whose behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity.

Prince and Tuggle will lead the Hornets into the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championships on November 16th. The race will begin at 12:15 pm and be held at Bowdoin College.
