Cassie Black named to NAC Volleyball Sportsmanship Team

Waterville, ME - Northern Vermont University-Lyndon volleyball player Cassie Black (Tolland, CT) has been named to the 2019 North Atlantic Conference Volleyball Sportsmanship Team, as voted on by conference coaches and announced on Friday.

Black, a junior setter, recorded four aces, eight assists, two aces, and 28 digs this season.  She started every set for the Hornets.

Selection to the Sportsmanship Team is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees are individuals who have positively affected the volleyball culture and environment and whose behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity that go beyond the playing rules and etiquette.

Lyndon finished the 2018 season with an 0-17 overall record, including an 0-6 mark in NAC play.
