Eleanor Harrington named to NAC Women's Soccer Sportsmanship Team

Waterville, ME - Northern Vermont University-Lyndon women's soccer player Eleanor Harrington (Fareham, Hampshire, UK) has been named to the 2019 North Atlantic Conference Women's Socer Sportsmanship Team, as voted on by conference coaches and annpunced on Tuesday.

Harrington, a senior midfielder, led the Hornets in scoring this season.  In 12 games played she totaled six goals, two assists, and 14 points.  She also recorded a team best 28 shots, including 19 shots on goal.

Selection to the Sportsmanship Team is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees are individuals who have positively affected the soccer culture and environment and whose behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity that go beyond the playing rules and etiquette.

Lyndon finished the 2018 season with a 1-13 overall record, including a 1-7 mark in NAC play.
