In the opener, Dyer clubbed a three-run double in a four-run second inning and a run-scoring single in a five-run fourth en route to the 10-1 five-inning mercy-rule win. McKell Barnes and Emily Coye each doubled for Farmington with Caitlin Flaherty and Lily Barry each chipping in two singles.

Whitney Page tossed a two-hitter for the win. Page walked two and struck out six. Page did not allow a hit after the first when Katelyn Willey (Lancaster, N.H.) singled home Kathy Kline (Coventry, R.I.). Natalia Shams (Swampscott, Mass.) took the loss with three walks and a strikeout in four innings.

In the game two, Barnes went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBI as the Beavers won 14-6 six-inning victory via the mercy rule. Dyer singled four times for Farmington as the hosts collected 16 hits. Sam Morency singled and double, while Kaitlyn Haase singled twice.

Kaitlyn Bartlett and Anna Piggott split mound duties for the Beavers. The duo combined to walk four and strike out seven. Shams singled and doubled for the Hornets, while Willey and Kayleigh Marsh (Newport, Vt.) each singled twice. Shams went the distance in the loss with four free passes and a punchout.
