Hornet men's cross country opens at Plymouth Invitational
PLYMOUTH, NH – The men's cross country team opened the 2017 season at the Plymouth State University Short Course Invitational.

Junior Benjamin Cornell (Burrilville, RI) began his season by pacing the men's team in 21:17 (12th overall/23) over the 6K course. Cornell was followed by fellow junior Matt Francis (Freeport, ME) in a time of 23:52 while sophomore Brian Corrigan (Andover, MA) completed the course in 23:54. The men ran incomplete today.
"Much like the women's team, this race today offers the men an opportunity to push the discomfort zone. I feel confident that was achieved based on what I saw. There is plenty of work to be done though." said Coach Ummer.

Both the men's and women's teams will be in action on September 16th when they compete at the Bowdoin College Invitational in Brunswick, ME.
