Men's cross country tackles Bowdoin Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Maine - The men's team had a solid performance at the Bowdoin Invitational, focusing on personal goals as the team did not get a complete score due to only racing four runners.  Senior Ayan Cole (Lyndonville, Vt.) led the Hornets on an 8k course with a 28:23.27, followed by sophomore Benjamin Cornell (Burrilville, R.I.) finished with a 29:28.54.  Sophomore Matthew Francis (Freeport, Maine) also covered the course in 32:00.38, followed by freshman Brian Corrigan (Andover, Mass.), who continues to grow and finish 33:50.96.  The men are continuing to improve, as they aim to run their best races at Conference and Regionals.

"They got some work to do, but we are seeing good improvement each week," expressed assistant coach Jeremiah Bias.  "With the right training and mindset, everything should fall into place."
