Hall earns NAC weekly honor again

LYNDON CENTER, Vt. – For the second time in a three-week period, Kenedi Hall of the Lyndon men's cross country team has been named Runner of the Week by the North Atlantic Conference for the period ending Sunday, Sept. 28.

The senior, who resides in Hartland, Vt., placed 30th in a field of 236 runners at the Williams College Purple Valley Invitational held Saturday in Williamstown, Mass. He led the Hornets to an 11th place team finish among the 21 teams competing and covered the 8-kilometer course in a time of 27:10.

"Kenedi's results are a testament that hard work pays off," said Lyndon Head Coach Chris Ummer. "His summer was dedicated to quality high miles and preparing for his senior year. His performance thus far is no accident. I believe he'll only get stronger."

Hall edged out Colby-Sawyer College standout Ben Bunnell and his time led all NAC runners who participated in the event. The race featured seven of the top 10 teams currently ranked in New England.
